Acai Benefits:
Antioxidant

The nutrient-dense acai berry is derived from a species of palm tree mostly native to Brazil. It is known to possess high concentrations of essential fatty acids as well as vitamins A, B, C, and E. When infused into cosmetic formulas, acai constituents possess the potential to improve skin appearance by supplying antioxidant properties. Antioxidant protection works to protect the skin by neutralizing cell-damaging free radicals present in the environment. This effect may even help to prolong the integrity and quality of skincare products. For this reason, acai berry skin care products can often be found in cosmetics.  1 2
