I decided to give this product a try. I tried others that no uv light was required. Loreal's 3 step product is by far the best. I have not had any problems with them chipping after only a few days. I'm on a keyboard typing all day plus regular stuff at home & so far I've had no problems. The product is a little thicker than regular n...ail polish but ib have found that in a quick hurry 1 coat of the color polish is goodv enough ifv you apply it just slightly thick. I've had mine last over a week. Saves money from having a gel manicure at a nail salon. Plus I found whatever they use for the gel manicure at salon weakens your natural nail almost like if you have acrylic nails. My nails were pretty strong until I started getting gel manicure at the salon. So I decided to file them all down & use Loreal's product instead about 3 weeks ago. Hopefully as my nails grow back in they will be strong again like they were before. Hopefully Loreal doesn't discontinue this product. Pros: it surface dries very quickly. Cons: it seems like it takes a little less than an hour to fully set to insure you don't mess up your manicure after you're done. Either way, I'm sticking with it. Love it.

This is hands down the best system for the price and no light needed! It also comes off easily with regular polish no need to soak your nails. Some of the things I noticed like with any polish is its best to wipe your nails with alcohol before starting. Don't scratch or run you fingers through your hair before you polish as you will... pick up oils and such and the polish won't stay on as good. Also try and not get your hands wet for a little while after you polish, I think this also helps set the polish. My polish did last for 7 days and I cleaned house and washed dishes! I would buy again and have 4 colors but would like more spring like colors as an option to the colors they already have. Btw the polish does dry pretty quickly!

LOVE this product.. The first time I went through the 3 step process it chipped the next day as many other reviews have stated. However, after reading a blog I took their advice and used my smooth sanding block first to help the base adhere to my nail. This made a huge difference. The most important thing I've learned is not to let t...he base or polish to dry between coats. Apply the base, two coats of colour, and the finishing coat in one go then let it dry. Looks great and has consistently lasted 7 days. It may last longer but I always change my colour once a week. I have 4 colours so far. But l'oreal needs to add more fun/seasonal colour choices.

I love doing my nails at home. I change my mind every week so it makes it easy and affordable to do my nails at home. Most nail polishes for me crack in about 2 days. I hate that. I want it to at least last a week. So when i heard of this polish i jumped at the chance. Pros: has a gel shiny lacquer that seems to last the length of t...he polish lasting. Looks thick. Dries very quickly. Easy to do. Cons: chips. I have tried different techniques and still chips within 2-3 days. To expensive for it to be chipping like any other nail polish. As soon as it starts to chip it also dulls.

I've wanted to get the gel look without spending the price for it. I used the system on Sunday 3/23/14 and so far to this day it polish has not chipped. I have not tried to remove it as of yet so we will see what happens with that process. The only thing is I wish they had a better selection of colors.
