It has a sheer, dewy consistnecy. I could see using it as an alternative to department store foundations if it came in a color that perfectly matched my skin. However, they skimped out on the lighter colors and blended W1-2 and N1-2 together, and the cool colors dont start until C3. So if you are at the lighter or cooler end of the s...pectrum, there is no "true match"for you. Hopefully L'oreal will remedy this problem and this could become a great drugstore find.

I recently bought this just to see if it would work. I normally use Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Fusion Wear Makeup but this is definitely a runner up. Dior is amazing but I always have to use a highlighter or luminzer on top of it to get my desired look but this product cuts out some of the steps and even in the heat it neve...r makes you look greasy or shiny, you just glow. It instantly makes you look refreshed instead of tired, which I always am and OMG looks like my own skin just flawless. Even my Dior doesn't match as perfectly as th out s one. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it wears off much faster than I'd like, even with a primer and/or BB cream. If this was an all day wear or at least 8 hour, I'd totally make this my go to foundation, as is though I won't be using it daily because I have 3 small children and reapplying constantly is not an option. But if this ever becomes an an infallible sort of lasting wear while keeping to its integrity I'm definitely in and will save myself 30.00. By the way my shade isn't on the website which during summer months is almost 3 shades darker than in winter (c5 classic beige).

I have purchased this twice now, and I have recommended it to others. It is absolutely the best foundation that I've ever used! The coverage is great...just amazing! It makes my skin so youthful! I just love it!

It has a nice smooth feeling to it but not real great coverage. It looks good for about two hours but not for a full day.

L'Oreal True Match Lumi is the greatest foundation I have ever used. I get compliments on how beautiful and flawless my skin is every single day and I always recommend this product. I began using MAC studio sculpt to see how the two compare. I will never buy it again. The True Match Lumi is literally 1000 times better. If any of you ...ladies have dry skin, maybe freckles or blemishes or just want flawless skin you MUST buy this product immediately. I've tried a lot of foundations and nothing else compares!!
