I am in my 50's and certainly do not need shiny, glittery colors on my eyelids. These only accentuate any lines or crepey skin in the lid area. Women in my age group require a matte color. Color without the sparkly glitz.

I usually use Maybelline eyeshadows, but thought I would try Loreal since I have recently switched back to their cosmetics. I found this color to be very shimmery and more silver than violet. Do not like it.

this is a great highlight for right under the eyebrow and also in the inner corners of your eyes.it makes your eyes look brighter and more beautiful!

The color now is completely different than the old shade. This is a frosted neutral light brown, whereas the old color was a rich earthy reddish matte brown. I just ran out of my old one a few months ago (it lasted forever!) and I've been on the hunt to find a sufficient replacement and am still looking.

I have to agree with the other reviewers, I want the old color back. This new version is not an improvement. Why does everything have to have glitter in it? I am in my 40's and I don't want glitter in my makeup. It was such a pretty color before, please bring it back...
