Oh my God! It is gorgeous! I just finished drying it and the high and low lights are beautiful! I was a John Freida 5R kind of gal, but couldnt find it. Sooo.. I was hopeful with this shade. PLEASE dont stop making it! GLORIOUS! I am a natual strawberry blonde, but have been every shade of red for about 13 years now. Ease of use a bi...g plus. Needed 2 boxes to color my long ( think back bra strap) hair with about a half a bottle left. I am a Loreal Gal from now on. Thanks!

I have used Loreal for many years. I started to become unhappy with the reds (too blue) until this shade. I even turned to blonde for a couple of years, but I never received the compliments the way I have with this shade.THE BEST EVER!!!!! Rave reviews from friends and colleagues. I am a teacher and one PTA mother even went out and h...ad her hair colored red since she loved my shade so much. It didn't come out like mine as she went to her hairdresser and didn't use this wonderful shade. I told her what I was using, so maybe she will try it the next time. I am 62 and have colored my hair since my 30's. I used to combine your preference light auburn with light brown with good results and as I went more and more gray, I switched to the medium shades. Then something happened and your red shades went to more of a blue tone. My natural color was reddish brown on more of an orange tone. Now, finally you did it!!! This shade (Chic Auburn Brown) is perfect for me. I was hesitant at first as it looked very red on the box, and it is a little more red than I was first used to, but the color is just gorgeous and the shine is a big plus! I also don't have to mix shades anymore. I have only seen this shade at Walmart and since it is new, I am nervous about it being discontinued or hard to find. Please keep it on the shelves! As long as it is available I will remain a Loreal woman! A million thanks!!

My normal Preference shade was not available so I tried the new Chic Auburn Brown. Loved it and got lots of compliments. Will now be my new color. Thank you L'Oreal.

Absolutely LOVE the Chic Auburn Brown color! I've been going for a Debra Messing type color when she was on Will & Grace, since high school, but always ended up with too bright - orange hair. It seems easy to find TOO coppery orange colors, too Ariel colored red or the dreaded purple type auburn :o/ I saw this & immediately got my h...opes up, really not wanting to be disappointed - and I definitely wasn't!!! If I could describe that perfect true to color auburn with a coppery lustre, this is it!! The after-color conditioner is even better (which I didn't think was possible) than the regular superior preference line & smells incredible. I know the Paris Lumiere line is newer, but I really hope they don't stop making it, it's breathtaking!!

I had a super horrible experience with another brand of hair dye Vidal Sassoon I tried Deep Black that was so strange I had orange spots here and there and some parts were Deep Black oh how horrible my hair turned out :'(!!!!! So after trying one last shot with L'Oreal Paris Superior Reference Paris Black Sapphire I hit the jackpot!!...!!!!!! I'm so glad I hit the jackpot because if this failed I would be going back to my Revlon Color Silk Black hair dye which I honestly didn't want to but this wow this is like level 100 awesomeness!!!!!! So pitch black with the right about of cool blue tints and the right about of shimmer!!!!!! So worth the price as well!!!!! Only problem is about this hair dye is the smell when you mix everything together but after awhile the smell goes away. As for the first this hair dye does bring out my eyes as well and goes well with my pale skin overall this is the best black hair dye I ever used in my life!!!!! Will so buy this hair dye again this is my number one hair dye ever!!!! :D ^^ <3
