How To Use
Allergy Test It’s essential to perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before you color your hair. This is the rule even if you’ve previously used a haircolor product. Allergies can develop suddenly, even though you’ve been coloring your hair for some time. Skin allergy test instructions are included in the instructional guide inside your box of haircolor.

Have used L'Oreal products for years with great results. Decided to try red velvet for a change- Im naturally medium brown. Followed directions completely, shampooed twice with provided shampoo and conditioner. Problem was, could not get my hair to rinse clear. Have washed it 3 times since coloring it and water is still red/pink and ...also staining my towels. I love the shade- but doubt if I will purchase it from L'Oreal again. Its all washing out.

Posted: Reviewing: 50 Medium Brown

I just wanted to say that I dyed my hair tonight with the medium brown color.. My hair unfortunately came out looking almost red like especially by the roots and a lot of my hair fell out from the dye. My hair also feels dry (which normally my hair feels soft after dying it). Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the result! I ex...pected a regular medium brown color and it's not what i got. I was using natural instincts before and will need to go back to using that brand as the end result is accurate.

I Have been dying my hair for 34 years. After the change of life my hormones are different, and L'OREAL is the only Brand I can use. Other brands make make sores on my head. I only use Platinum or Extra Bleach Blonde, and only leave it on for 15min. I also shampoo my hair after I rinse the dye out then I use the conditioner. My hair ...feels very healthy doing it this way, and it does not wash the color out. I have 4 daughters. I have told them over, and over again that the color they will get depends on what is on their hair now, and what their natural color is. The roots will not be the same as the rest of their hair if they have dyed it before or changed color. It was so funny. One of my daughters had dyed her hair black, and then decided to go blonde. Yes she looked like a skunks coloring. All the new growth was blonde, and the black was still dark. Just remember you can not go from dyed Black hair to blonde in one application.
