I chose the Champagne Blonde b/c I 'm a natural blonde and my roots had become very dark while the rest of my color was almost a yellowish blonde (not very natural looking) After taking the Loreal hair color consultation It was either the champagne blonde or 8A medium ash blonde. I chose the 8 1/2A. I love the results!! It looks much... more natural. The dark roots are gone and it is much more complimentary to my skin color . Fair skin w/ pink undertones. The brassiness is gone, however, after two washes I'm noticing the darker ash tones are fading a little w/ each wash. Knowing this now, I will likely go with the 8A next time and see if it provides a little more ash contrast to the blonde tones. I have little if any grey hair and almost a dishwater blonde color naturally. Overall, I'm very satisfied w/ the results. My hair looks healthy and the actual application was super easy and I will likely never go back to salon coloring again. AMEN to that ladies!! Much more affordable and convenient. Try this product you will not be disappointed.

this hair color is excellent. yesterday i dye my hair turn exact same shade as the box which is awesome and i would purchase this product again for hair. i give it 5 out of 5. love the color and the l'oreal excellence product. thanks loreal for amazing product

I usually color at home and have used many different L'Oreal hair color products. For a change I decided to get my hair colored at a salon with matrix 8 copper blonde and absolutely loved it but I can't afford to pay salon prices to color my roots. This was the closest looking shade I could find so I tried it and... it matches perfec...tly! The only difference between this and the salon color is that is does fade slightly after a few weeks even with good color safe products. However since I like the color so much and the price is right I still give 5 stars. I have not found any other box hair color to come close to this, all are too red or too blonde.

I decided to save a few bucks by starting to color my own hair again. I have been going to the salon for the last few years for color/hl. I just wanted to give my hair a break, so I have been just coloring the last few times. GLAD I READ THE REVIEWS FOR THIS COLOR (Light Auburn 6R) before I bought it. IT'S NOTHING LIKE THE COLOR ON T...HE BOX or on Julianne Moore's head on the commercials. It's the same color I had, medium reddish brown, without roots or grays after the coloring. I'm not disappointed in the least; however, as the reviews I read said buy lighter as it'll develop darker and I just saved myself approx. $85. by not going to the salon to get it done. :-)

Very easy to use applicatore gets down to the roots.While the creme colorante bonds to each strand of hair. This product provides very good gray coverage plus a wonderful shine when dry. The color last for quite a long time. Iget lots of complimants on how natural and healthy my hair looks after using L'oreal Ecellence Creme.
