Your wedding day is one of the most important, exciting and beautiful days of your life. All eyes will be on the bride, especially her hands, as rings are exchanged and cakes are cut. This means that choosing the right manicure is quite important!
We have five very pretty ideas to help you pick one...
The French manicure
This timeless classic is a great look for any bride-to-be. Whether you go for a classic nude and white combination or opt for a sparkly look, this manicure is always going to look very chic and very romantic!
The reverse French manicure
The reverse French manicure is just as chic and downright gorgeous as the more traditional right-way-up French manicure whilst being a little bit edgy at the same time. There are two ways you can do it – paint your nail one colour and the little moon (also known as the lunlula) section near your cuticle a different colour OR do a more literal reverse French look by painting your nail and then tracing a white line at the base of your nail.
A pastel manicure
Pastels are soft, feminine and generally very lovely so they make for a great bridal manicure. Whether you prefer pink, lavender, coral, blue or green, there's a pretty pastel out there for you! It all depends on your style (well, your dress) but if you can't decide which shade is right for you, a pale pink is always a very romantic way to go.
A white manicure
White is a symbol of elegance and purity... and it looks really cool in manicure form. If your wedding dress is a bright white and you like the idea of a manicure that is right on trend for your big day, there's nothing (style-wise) stopping you!
A shimmery manicure... or two
Adding a touch of sparkle to your look can quite literally take your wedding day ensemble from beautiful to brilliant. There is no easier way to do this than with your nail polish. There are a couple of sparkly manicures that are just perfect for a wedding! For the first, apply a base coat before covering your nail with a glittering gold or silver nail polish, finishing up with a top coat.
FYI, all of the above are also great ideas for bridesmaids and wedding guests, too!
